Barely South Review

The Barely South Review is a literary magazine within the M.F.A. Program at Old Dominion University.

My role in this magazine is a Nonfiction Reader. As a nonfiction reader, when nonfiction submissions arrive, my editor splits them up and sends them to different readers. We get to choose whether a story should be published or not.

 

Working with BSR has given me the knowledge of what makes a good story, the beginning paragraphs. Being a reader has helped me craft my own writing differently.
